Superdrug announce loyalty card launchHealth and beauty chain of High street Superdrug -have announced the launch of it is the first ever loyalty card – The Beautycard.
From 11 may Superdrug customers will be able to pick up the new loyalty card that can be used to earn points when shopping online or in stores.
Similarly to advantage card Boot, Beautycard owners receive special seasonal offers and will be able to redeem points against products online and in store.
In a new twist, Superdrug will also allowing customers to select their favorite brands on which to collect extra points during special promotions.
The card will provide a point for every pound spent and every 100 points will be equal to one pound that can be spent in the store. To celebrate the launch, customers can earn 50 bonus points on every £ 5 spent on own-brand products at Superdrug (until June 7), will receive 10 points per pound on shopping online (during the same period) and there will also be several other promotions and opportunities to earn additional points.
Commercial Director of Superdrug, Steve Jebson, commented: "customers have always said it would take to launch a loyalty card. Now we are ready to use the skills of our parent company, AS Watson, and new technologies, to offer clients an added value when they shop in our stores. "
On a side note, the card also doubles as a mirror, giving it extra handbag that appeal and making the perfect accessory for try tester in-store. Not sure how you feel about men that carry in your wallet, though!
