OPI Nail Polish applied to Light My Sapphire

This photo is of OPS Light My Sapphire in sunlight when the hidden gold and purple shines in Polish spring to life.

Most of the time, it looks more like this:

Blackened blue with Indigo and shimmer shades very thin. A dark shade of enamel very nice, but not as beautiful as when the sun hits.

This is with three coats; two hands was still a little streaky to take photos of, though happily would wear two hands in everyday life on my short nails.

OPI Pirates of the Caribbean-Stranger tides applied

In the light of the Sun

I have been anticipating the Pirates of the Carribean OPI collection since it was released to a selection of bloggers in February. Is finally out and I consulted Helen of Just-Nice-Things.co.uk, which is my go to nail color consultations, which should go to. He said that tides Stranger (actually said ' Why buy one? ' before, but then he recommended Stranger tides). Today nipped at Selfridges at lunchtime, and sure enough, Stranger tides sang to me.

Shadow

It is a neutral cloudy dyed green. It's been a while since I've watched any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but I think I remember them having zombies-pirates in their spectral type, and this would be the color of their nails. It is quite similar to enamel ash StrangeBeautiful I posted a picture of (worn as a nail accent) a couple of days ago, but with a more defined tone is less green and greener and more muted than Illamasqua Milf (besides having a nicer name. I like the shadow, but don't care about the name of Illamasqua at all).

I liked this shot showing two Trollbeads bracelets that I'm wearing at the moment; I think they look a bit like pirate swag.

These images are with two coats applied: it is the thinnest side, and it could do with three coats to cover absolutely perfect (particularly on longer nails), but two makes a pretty good job for me. The brush is excellent and practically applies the Polish for you.

From the rest of the collection, I wasn't overly grabbed for Mermaid's tears even though I thought I 'd. As the skull and Glossbones a lot and can get that one too. Silver shatter top coat is also still calling to me, though I resisted buying it with extraneous tides.

Chanel applied enamel Mimosa

This was an impulse purchase. I bought Chanel Mimosa from pharmacy Covent Garden on the day of launch nationwide Chanel summer without spend much (any) time considering if I really want to, simply because he had spent in Selfridges within a couple of weeks of its launch exclusive there; the charm of the limited edition to work.

Zesty is a bright yellow with the typical thin sheen of Chanel, and the color and finish are bright and cheerful. The particular shade of yellow was chosen to be flattering on a range of skin tones (yellow) and shine hidden stops looking flat and paint-like. It was a pain to apply; quite draggy, and took three to get a finishing coats vaguely also on my short nails.

I really can't decide if I like it, or if it is a bit ugly. Mr London nail lacquer prefers to American Apparel butter hereI described and I think it's fair.

Only yellow enamel Chanel could do so desirable. Maybe this is what went into the development of the product ...

Chanel Nail Guy: Come on people, I need a challenge's. I had them wear black nails, blue, mint, tortora, aqua .... Although the Khaki Brown sold like hot cakes. What next

Maybe they put catnip to women in the enamel.
