0-6 Months before the wedding ...

Planning a pre-wedding party tricks. About 1-2 months before your wedding, the makeup artist do a test run. Have your bridesmaids with you and get their input on your make. Try to schedule the party make up to the time of day when your wedding takes place. You might also consider bringing pictures from magazines to show your specialist make-up styles you like. Tissue samples would also be a big thing, too, so that the makeup artist can create the perfect color palette that compliments the bridesmaid dresses and bouquets of flowers.

Tip: take a picture proof trick, so that you can see how the trick is going to look when photographed.

If you trick yourself:

Make it waterproof. Because you can be in tears on the day of your wedding, choose the mask that is waterproof. It last longer and resist your tears.

Lighten the liner. Black and Brown bags look too serious, can thus choose charcoal, Navy or mahogany, instead, for a more natural look.

Highlight your eyes. Use a white drop shadow on your brow bone if you have light skin, or a warm peach vanilla light or shadow, if you have a deeper complexion.

Outline. Use a color boundary under your brow bone to give the shape of the eyes. Make sure that it is not too intense, however, that you take away the natural beauty of your eyes.

Define. Shade and shape eyebrows with a pencil or a shadow that matches your hair color. Make sure you don't overdo it!

Get cheeky! Color to your cheeks gives an instant face lift, but don't go overboard. If you have light skin, use a pink tone. Women with deeper skin tones can use a rosier tone.

Even out skin tone. If the face is darker at your neck and chest, use a make a transition bronzer.

Fill in your lips. Choose a color of the lips, which is a little brighter than you would normally wear, to keep you from looking faded photos. Remember to bring your lipstick with you for blending after the marriage too.
