These Lennox has the blessing and curse of being equipped with which name (as in daughter of Annie Lennox) and that the mantle (girl), but the London model is ascending the ranks its steam, booking the appearances of campaigns for Burberry and Topshop and catwalk for PradaMissoni, Miu Miu and Christopher Kane, among others. "I love the adventure, as you may end up in unexpected places every week," Lennox said the draw in the industry — and case in point, this week found her in Paris, where he walked the track of Mango as the new global Ambassador of the label. Lennox spoke with Style.com his adventures in forests (artificial), his love for vintage and her conflicted feelings about en-dom.
They always set your sights on fashion?
I never really designed to be a model, but it's a pretty amazing thing to be able to do. I've always been really into fashion — I have studied a lot to me, reading books on a variety of designer since I was young. And I like to play with personal style; This is what makes fun of Mango, because you can really enjoy the clothes. Also, I can see the collections take shape; then with a show like that in Paris this week, you will learn firsthand what happens in a marca marketing and launch a collection. Is an amazing vision.
What are your latest adventures in modeling?
I had a shoot editorial the other day with a boa constrictor, a Skunk, a Tarantula, an OWL and a hedgehog, a manmade forest. It's amazing — you get to take really a character. Behind the scenes at a trade show is amazing, [even] is just everything in fashion, which intensified. But in everyday life, I'm just a normal person in the street.
Although, unlike most normal people on the street, are often referred to as an It girl. I heard that you don't like that term.
Honestly I don't think of myself in this way. I think — I hope — it comes to having a bit of character, but regarding modeling goes, I worked really hard for it. When I started, made a point of not actually using my name. That's why doing good in-season Show is so important for me because the people do not know who you are. I want to do what they do the other girls; I don't want anything untrue. But also don't get paranoid — I think it's important to just be yourself.
As approaches personal style?
I like to be very eclectic and also I like to just wear what makes me feel good. Fashion can say anything you want. Some people use it to feel powerful, or to show off themselves, but for me it is just about being inspired by a character and love — love to find something and bring to life once again. Wearing my vintage belt with a blue dress that is fresh Mango, because there is an element of glamour in floral print, but then the belt keeps on the ground. I have another maxi dress from white and summer collection that works well, too. I don't like sticking to one thing, I like to be extravagant. Changes and develops all the time.
What are you in now?
Hats — loads of them. And I just found this jacket a vintage fair which is simply fantastic. It should be worth £ 300, but I got it for £ 50, because its fur was dumb, but cleaned up. Everywhere I go people comment on it. Once you've found a great piece, you can't retain a sentimental connection with it. I love it when style has a bit of nostalgia to it. But eventually he feel like a second skin, as a part of you.
